Integrating Clinical Imaging with Multimodal Data for AI in Precision Medicine

Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - 11:00 AM to Wednesday, March 12, 2025 - 5:00 PM

Online

The NIH Common Fund is hosting a strategic planning workshop to discuss high-priority focus areas when developing the PRIMED-AI program concept, a new potential Common Fund initiative relevant to all NIH ICOs. The primary goal of this workshop is to identify opportunities and challenges in enabling precision medicine with artificial intelligence (AI) through the integration of clinical imaging and multimodal data. This workshop will take place March 11-12, 2025.

Session topics will include:

  1. Developing algorithms that leverage multimodal data to solve clinical needs
  2. Accessing and preparing AI-ready imaging and multimodal data to enable interoperability
  3. Validating and implementing clinical imaging and multimodal AI
  4. Ethical considerations for the use of imaging-based, multimodal AI clinical decision support tools

This workshop will engage internal and external subject matter experts, community members, and staff from across the NIH in a series of informational presentations, panel discussions, and open question forums. Attendance is open to the public.
