This course will review the fundamentals of the immune system and its components, engineering strategies to modulate the immune system, and clinical applications to improve patient care and outcomes in the development of neoadjuvant immunotherapies, highlighting particular considerations for immunological mechanisms, clinical development, and pathologic response assessments.
