2023 NIBIB Alzheimer's Disease Administrative Supplements Funded Investigators Virtual Meeting

Friday, September 29, 2023 - 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Online

The Workshop is for Recipients of Alzheimer’s-Focused Administrative Supplements for NIH Grants that are Not Focused on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). The vision is efficient and effective imaging techniques to accurately assess AD as early as possible and develop new devices and interventions for the treatment of the disease. This workshop will give these investigators the opportunity to present their work outside of their original field and interact with investigators who concentrate on AD research. The focus is on advancements achieved by recipients of AD supplements over the past six years and concentrate on the outcomes of the supplement work and the advancement to subsequent funding, projects, and collaborations. What progress and advancements have the supplements lead to in the treatment of AD and AD related dementia? This workshop will also give the recipients of these supplements, whose work does not focus on AD, a chance to interact with other AD researchers. The meeting will feature multiple speakers and invitees including recipients of the awards and other researchers in the AD area.
