Research Interests
  • Pharmacokinetics, heat and mass transport, and fluid mechanics
  • Analysis of drug kinetic data
  • Application of mathematical models such as finite element methods for simulation of mass transport of drugs and other agents in physiological systems and for the simulation of heat transfer in tissue and of fluid flow in vasculature
  • Use of in vitro models of vascular systems to study hemodynamic problems such as atherosclerosis and arterial drug delivery, and the development of in vitro models of tissue systems for heat and mass transfer
