Nichole Daringer

Biography

Dr. Nichole Daringer joined the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) in 2023 as a Program Director in the Division of Discovery Science and Technology. Her previous position was as an Assistant Professor at Rowan University where her lab focused on developing synthetic biology tools for use in cell-based therapeutics to treat immune disfunction. Dr. Daringer completed her postdoc at MIT and her Ph.D. at Northwestern University in Chemical and Biological Engineering. During both, she developed novel mammalian synthetic biology platforms. Dr. Daringer received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa with a B.S.E. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering.
