Corey boasts 22 years of dedicated federal service, beginning his career in 2002 as an office automation clerk/assistant at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center. He later joined the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), where he worked as an administrative technician.
In 2013, Corey transitioned to the National Cancer Institute, taking on the role of administrative officer. His career continued to advance when he joined the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development as a Lead Administrative Officer, further honing his leadership skills. In 2024, he joined NIBIB's Office of Administrative Management, where he is Extramural Section Chief.
Throughout his career, Corey has been committed to mentoring federal employees and has actively participated in various focus groups, including the STRIVE Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Workforce Committee Meeting and the Innovation Working Group.
